UX DESIGN & CONTENT

There might be a screen in between.

But there’s still a person on the other side.

Picture of a man sitting at a cafe while using his computer. Dime lights, reflection.

It makes total sense

This phrase isn’t mine; it’s from a client. Someone who didn’t know anything about UX before we began working together.

Well, to be honest, what she wasn’t aware of was the term itself.

You see, I didn’t want to kick off this page addressing a pain point or resorting to urgency.

Actually, all of this simpler than that.

Your content needs to sell but to guide, and connect.

And whether it’s text that will appear on a website, an app, an email, or on social media…

If it’s going to appear on a screen, you need to write it to be read on a screen.

If they don’t read your text, you don’t sell.

If they read it but they don’t understand it, you don’t sell.

If they understand it but it doesn’t speak to them, guess what? You don’t sell.

But this isn't just about content.

A text without design or strategy is only words.

And this is where User Experience (UX) comes in.

Now that I have you around, let me introduce myself.

Hi there.

My name is Virginia and I’ve been officially in the user experiencie field for over a decade.

I’ve worked for multinationals, startups, and personal brands. Different roles, but all with a common goal: helping them think in the people interacting with them.

As for the unofficial part and the rest of the story…

Some of the companies I have worked with:

Why this UX thing should interest you?

Because your website* is telling a story whether you know it or not.

What do people think about your brand when they visit you? How do they talk about it out there?

The answers to these questions will influence the relationship they create with you.

And if you want to avoid them closing the tab and not coming back or staying but doing nothing (don’t know which one is worse)…

You need to design the experience that a person will have when they access your digital universe. To guide them in a clear and understandable way.

* ( and this also could be applied to apps, email, social media...)

Humanise your brand.
Be remembered.
And above all, keep it simple.
